A Homebuyer Survey & Valuation Report (HSV) is carried out to a standard format defined by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). It is designed for properties built within the past 125 years which are of conventional construction and in reasonable condition.

The Homebuyer Report includes the following information:

• Urgent & significant matters that need assessing prior to purchase.

• Condition of services, wiring, plumbing and drainage where visible.


• Recommended Insurance Reinstatement Cost (Fire Insurance).


• Open Market Value.


• Further advice on specific matters required by the client.
